Selkirk Collection Box
Date: February 2007
In collaboration with: Guy Bishop
Design Company: Ross Associates
An interactive collection box for the Halliwell's House Museum in Selkirk, Scotland. When a coin is put into the box the 'horses' start to gallop and LEDs illuminate in sequence on the map behind the horses to indicate the path of the famous 'Selkirk Common Riding'. The collection box was designed and manufactured by Guy Bishop (www.guybishop.com). Eagle Designs designed and manufactured the electronic controller required to make the box operate.
